Spinifex celebrates the 10-year anniversary
with the release of a 5-CD album
Our festive 5-CD album 2005-2015 will be released in October. To make this production possible, Spinifex is preparing a Kickstarter crowdfunding campaign --- more news about that in August!
The 5-CD album will be beautifully packaged in high-quality carton, exquisitely designed by Liluc / Uli Genenger, and accompanied by a 16-page booklet with liner notes by Aad van Nieuwkerk.
The album will contain 2 brand-new Spinifex releases: the quintet CD Veiled, which is momentarily being mastered, and the spectacular spinifeX maXimus (more about that below).
Also previously unreleased is Spinifex Live, a collection of recordings from the years 2010 through 2014 by the projects Indian Spin [FX] (with Indian master musicians Mysore Manjunath and B.C. Manjunath), the Tuba Band, and Bollycore (featuring the wonderful vocalist Priya Purushothaman).
Last but not least, the Spinifex Orchestra CD Trioda (2008) and Spinifex Hipsters Gone Ballistic (2013) are included.

Spinifex in Siberia!
In the first 3 weeks of august, Spinifex will travel 4000 kms from Irkutsk to Vladivostok, playing 20 gigs at venues ranging from clubs to philharmonic halls to open-air festivals.
